bug?

bug?

2002-05-07 by coscon23

i came across some strange bug-like creatures when playing around
with my mp7;
first and strangest; sometimes it won't remember a preset on a
certain channel; saved the pattern with o.k. preset, no events on the
track (so no prg ch)... try some other patterns, come back and
behold.. the preset is wrong again... only way to prevent this is
copying the track to another track, strange not?...
for the rest it's the usual stuff... some unexpected ticks and clicks
sometimes.... also, i'm pretty bothered by the fact it cuts of notes
when changing ch/tr...
still... i love the machine... the best thing that happened to my
liveset for years!

>>>That's your problem right there. You need to have something recorded in
the track so that the sequencer will send a PC message when you go back to
that Pattern. Maybe just select the correct preset, record some crap real
quick on that track and save the Pattern. Then go back and erase the
notes, this should leave the PC message intact. <<<

i've been away a couple of days so that's why this reply is a bit
late... sorry, realm, but i'm sure it's not my fault, there are no
events on the track but there sure are notes... (otherwise it
wouldn't be a problem!)

Sorry, I misread your email that day, I was swamped at work.
