No MIDI thru for XL-7?

No MIDI thru for XL-7?

2002-06-06 by tommy_trance

Okay I'm still learning Midi...I was just wondering why the XL7 does
not have a midi thru? Wouldn't that be something advantageous if
one was to use the XL7 as just a sound module and send midi clock
out via "thru" from xl7 to another gear's Midi In? Or would a Midi
thru serve no purpose for the xl7?

It does. The feature is called midi merge(listed on page 138 in your
manual). It turns one or both of the out ports to a thru.
