Velocity

2002-07-22 by hm001us

Hello I got a quest?
Where can i change the velocity so it triggers the pad as loud as
possible no matter how hard or soft i hit the pad? also whenever i
play back sequences it sound like sometimes the sounds are loud then
after a few moments it goes low and muffled sounding--and vice versa?
How can i make the sounds consistent throughout without having it
change over time? I hope this makes sense. any help is
appreciated!! thanks to all!! take care

Hi,

I have the same question, could it be the expression or aftertouch could be
responsible for that
thing, that the sound gets more silent... hard to explain it in english,

Is there a way to set all notes on a track to the same velocity?

>>>On the SCALE/SHIFT screen, set scale to 0% and set shift to the
value you
want.

one way :
add 127 velocity value to all the notes
they will then all be at 127
now subtract the desired amount (e.g., subtract 27 if
you want a velocity of 100)

I think the guy ansewered his own question:

On the SCALE/SHIFT screen, set scale to 0% and set shift to the value you want.

Since you can do this in one step and don't have to do math, I'd
recommend it...
