Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

How would i go about syncing 2 command stations? I figure that i 
would most likely need to slave one to the other. I dont want to rely 
on midi clock. I want to be able to slave the transport , of one, to 
that of the master command station, in order to have 32 tracks. Can i 
do this through midi time code? Is it possible with out the aid of a 
computer? Do i need a midi interface to accomplish this? Any midi-
pros out there? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, you probably *do* want to use MIDI Clock.  The slave device 
will automatically pick up tempo, locates, and transport controls. 
 Simply enable "Transmit MIDI Clock" on the master unit and "Use MIDI 
Clock" on the other unit.  That's it.  You'll then be able to press play 
& stop, select bars & beats, change tempo all on the master unit and the 
slave will follow.
