Studio Monitors

Studio Monitors

2003-02-18 by David

Realm,

Thanks for your tips on the monitors. I compaired pretty heavily to the
Mackie 824's and using a RTA, I found that the 824's weren't really worth
the extra dough. Finally a real set of speakers that I can REALLY mix on. .
.

PEOPLE - if you don't know how important good monitors are for your music,
you're really missing out!

Just a couple more devices and the studio is complete (yeah right)

They do good justice to my music. Even $150 Headphones just don't cut it...

Re: [xl7] Studio Monitors

2003-02-18 by Mark Pipher

I also use the Alesis M1 Active mkIIs, and I really like them. I see many
people talk trash about them, but I really don't understand why. It's
probably just the old theory: cheap = crap. I call it great value for the
money. They have served me quite well, and I recommend them to anyone.
