Does 2.0 transmit clock start in middle of song?

Does 2.0 transmit clock start in middle of song?

2003-07-19 by jesse_medway

Hi,

ever since 2.0 i don't seem to be able to start my song midway
someplace and have clock transmitting correctly. the only way i can
sync my drum machine (sp12) is to hit stop until it rewinds to the
beginning of the mp7 song. is there a trick to getting it to send?

thanks

Jesse

Not6iced something interesting. If I manually hit play on my drum
machine while the mp7 is running and get it close to on time then it
seem to lock right on. I can then change the tempo on the mp7 and my
drum machine follows it. I've had it play in sync for a few minutes
with no drift, it sounds like its locked right on. Some how its
catching the clock, but if I hit play more than a 16th note off then
it doesnt work (well its off time).
