I seriously doubt it. You'd have to modify the firmware to do that, and chances are the CPU's are already maxed out.
You can already hear the CPU's lagging when complex modulations are used, when the user turns kbos on the front panel.


You're better off buying 3-4 Matrix 1000's, which do have a way to chain them together.
You can actually get a 36 voice polysynth using 6 Matrix 1000's,\ufffd for less than the price of an Xpander.
