Is there and what is the best way to simulate the Oberheim 4 Voice Rotate mode, where each key press goes to a different SEM Module (and theoretically, sound) and each voice keeps triggering (playing) on a Xpander ? Cheers (-)

turn off two of the six voices in the master page and set your zones to "rotate". -o

then just follow the same steps I provided, but instead use multi-mode and select a different patch for each of the first 4 voices. -o

:p, that's what I said in my first email. "set your zones to rotate". if you want each voice to trigger a different patch setting, then switch to "multi" mode and select a different patch for each voice slot. multi-mode combined with zone rotate gives you exactly what you explained you're after.

To emulate the 4 voice programmer you also want to set each Zone Mode to Rotate. Make sure each zone is on the same channel in MIDI/CV.Anyone have a Good Lyle Mays style thick SEM patch btw ?(-)On Dec 15, 2013, at 12:27 AM, Omar Torres wrote:then just follow the same steps I provided, but instead use multi-mode and select a different patch for each of the first 4 voices.-oNot quite, The 4 Voice rotates through the 4 SEMS in Rotate mode on its programmer, one vice at time, and you can have different or slight different patches on each SEM, thats more what I am after on the Xpander than the actual 4 voice thing, is rotating through 4 or 6 different patches.
