Got my M12 running *whew!*
The problem will probably come back, but the awesome service manual said that this error is due to communication problems between the voice and main processors (a bus handshake line). Opened it up, wiggled one the 24 year old ribbon cables and voila! I'm figuring a bad connection/cracked wire. I broke a few wires in the ribbon cables while doing a repair after a 16oz dark beer was poured into my M12 by someone who's lucky to be alive today! Had to replace the ribbons with IDE harddrive cables, a week of sheer terror let me tell you!
