BTW synthwise is a scrapper. They get most of their posts scraping my site but you'll never get the video, links and full post there. Just look for it on MATRIXSYNTH.

Would love to have this for my Xpander... Is anyone on here in contact with the maker and do they have any idea when there might be a release?? even a buggy non finished one I'd be happy with.

Hi,

I'm the guy behind Xplorer. I don't make too much buzz on it since I have a very few free time to work on. As you can see the main features are implemented, but I do not want to release an unfinished software and to be overhelmed with bug submissions, feature requests and making support for it.
Since the first post about it on MatrixSynth on year ago or so, I made the website and some Youtube demos just to let people know what is going on with it.
So please be patient, and check sometimes the website http://xplorer.programmer.free.fr (website is in english) for news.

/Greg.

Thanks and good luck with the development. In my opinion this is one of the best ideas related to Xpander!

Cheers,
Tiitu.

Well, it´s good idea, but I never had probs to edit my gear from their surfaces UI, so also not the Xpander.
In the end, much of success will depend on how effective a software editor is in a DAW environment.
The biggest drawback might come up when the last 8x8 MIDI interface dies and/ or 64Bit drivers aren´t available and you upgrade to a 64Bit system, which most will near future.
That will be the moment outboard MIDI gear cannot be connected to a PC anymore except it has USB.
Sad but true.

Hi,

The time for beta testing has come

I'm looking for 2 beta testers:
- 1 Matrix-12 owner with Windows Vista or Windows 7, 64 bits, DAW user (Cubase, FL Studio, Reaper, Studio One, Protools, whatever…).
- 1 Xpander owner with Windows Vista or Windows 7, 32 bits, DAW user (Cubase, FL Studio, Reaper, Studio One, Protools, whatever...)

So if you want to help, please go to http://xplorer-editor.com and leave a comment to the last post ("Xplorer private beta stage starts on April 15,2012").

Thank you.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
