I don't believe the plane of transportation has any effect. It doesn't matter in what plane the vibration comes in. It's just vibration itself in combination with the spring-force that's left inside the trimmers (the older, the less strong the trimmer-shaft makes contact). If the casters were on another side, it would result in the same risks. Just carry the CS80 with two persons if the floor is uneven. I feel the older the synth gets, the more problems these trimmers cause (too less spring-force, dead spots).
