When I get my CS-80, and will run it on the German 230V / 50Hz, I plan to wire it for 240V. When the CS-80 was built, we had 220V, so 230V would be too high on the European (220V) setting. The synth _should_ tolerate a little overvoltage / undervoltage, and I'd rather go for undervoltage to keep it cooler and to to reduce magnetic field in the mains transformer ... Another option would be to set it up for 227V. Is there any catch? I thought not, but someone gave me a hint there have been problems before, so I better ask ... JH.
