All good advice. That repeated auction thing is a very common scam. Don't be tempted to contact those people because some can be very sophisticated in the ways they suck you in. This current guy does have a reasonable feedback profile built up so he *probably* legitimately has a CS80 there. And, as noted, a $3500 BIN can be a decent deal when nice examples of these things can touch $4k. But I must stress, that is WAAAY too much money to just send off to a guy and hope a gigantic beast survives the shipping and all is like he claimed. Unless you have the time to road trip it out to CA I'd steer clear and wait until one shows up in this half of the country. Speaking of which, dude it's too bad you missed the one that was IN Chicago last November. It was mint, original owner, all original documentation and accessories, sold for $3575.
