I always thought the stand went that way.  On the CS-80s and CS-60 I had 
that had the stands, that's how I set it up.  It was only a few weeks 
ago that I saw the picture on the cover of the manual and realized that 
it's supposed to go the other way.  I don't care - I think it looks 
better with the round part in front!
