Hi David, The VCO153 and GX1BPF will be assembled 5U-format modules I will be offering myself, though my company. The IG153 (retrofit board for IG00153 chip) and JH151 (retrofit for IG00151) are likewise pre-assembled SMD boards for use in replacing those custom ICs, and will be offered probably around March 2012. I will also have a small board for replacing CA3080 OTAs with a small discrete OTA cell and a board for offering a dual matched NPN (or PNP) pairs with an included 1K 3300ppm thermal-contact resistor, both boards having a DIL-8 pinout. The modules can use a Moog-style front panel if so desired, though you would need to get the panels made/lettered--Arrick sells the blanks. At some point I might offer a frac-rack version--we'll see. Someone asked about replacing the EG chips. This is somewhat more complicated in that it is hard to get that many parts into a retrofit board that would fit reasonably into an IG00152/159 socket location. But, I have a solution that involves using a microcontroller to do the envelopes with high enough resolution one cannot tell the functions are computed in the discrete time domain instead of the continuous time domain. We'll see. Regards, Scott Rider http://www.cs80.com/ /**/ On 11/14/2011 9:56 AM, David Rogoff wrote: > Hi Scott. > > Good to hear from you. Look forward to your new modules!
