Allocating less than 8 voices on a CS-80?

I remember reading somewhere on this group though my searches couldn't find it again. I don't think I remembered wrongly, but it might have been a reference to just get in touch with one of the gurus here.

Anyway, what I'm looking to find out is the feasibility of allocating less than 8 voices.
