Maybe step down transformer is dead, or some protector inside it. CS80  
asked more power then it could supply...

Just check it's output if there's voltage. If yes, you can check fuses  
in CS, but they are probably OK.

And never leave electric devices on when walking outside. Especially  
with unknown machine you switch on for the first time. I'd never do  
such thing. You never know which problem can appear, maybe even fire.  
That would be expensive lesson.
