Re: [yamahacs80] Yamaha reface?

2015-07-08 by Daniel Forró

Yes, but lot of features are missing, to me it's just incomparable,
it's just a toy. Exactly that important performing aspect was omitted,
all that what makes a difference between musical instrument and a toy
- range of the keyboard, polyphonic aftertouch and lot of other...
Here even the right hands can't do much :-)

But of course there's a possibility of MIDI control, let's wait for
machine's detailed MIDI implementation and see if it's only preset toy
or if there's full RPN/NRPN and SysEx control... Maybe it can receive
polyphonic aftertouch like many other digital Yamaha synthesizers.
