Between Vdd (+8.5V) and Vss (-6.5V) of each IC. I use Mil-Max "capped" sockets for this. They are a little difficult to seat into the board as the hole spacing is a little wider than 300 mils, but it can be done--I do it all the time. :) Existing caps may as well be replaced. Especially electrolytics. I tend to replace the old "main" filter capacitors in the power supply. The old ones are cemented to the board, but the adhesive can be cut with an Xacto blade. New ones with the correct lead spacing are hard to find for the larger cap pair, so I use whatever I can find as a closest fit then anchor them to the board using cemedine (the same stuff Yamaha used, it is a common non-conductive type of model cement).
