Eddie Jobson @ NAMM

Eddie Jobson @ NAMM

Eddie, playing all his great CS80 tunes (plus piano & organ) on the new Vax77 keyboard with poly-aftertouch. Looks great! They really need to get together with the Arturia guys and make a Origin Keyboard Plus. There might finally be something that could replace a CS80.

If you look at the Infinite Response website, you'll see that Eddie has been their main consultant the last few months, so the keyboard is basically designed as a CS80 replacement.

yes, great, thanks for the Info, but a ribbon is still missing
on the VAX, many people asked it many times at the beginning,
too bad they never did it.

That's another reason they should work with Arturia: the new keyboard version of the Origin has a CS80-ish ribbon, although I don't know the details.

Sure would like to know what EJ is running on Main Stage. The CS-80, Minimoog, C3, and piano sounds sound exactly like the record.

The VAX77 is reviewed in this month's Keyboard magazine. They definitely like it a lot. I really hope they have more versions and/or license the poly-aftertouch keyboard to other companies.
