Can't figure out if B10K 4M is the same as B10K 4Y

Can't figure out if B10K 4M is the same as B10K 4Y

2010-12-15 by Mike

Hey,

There are actually some parts on E-bay right now for the first time in over a year. I'm thinking about getting a B-10K 4Y (from a CS60) to replace a B10K 4M on my CS80. Does anybody know if this will work? The picture on e-bay looks the same as the one that I have in my CS80. Does anybody know if there is a critical difference?

Hi Mike,

I think that the important bit is the "B10K".. 'A' and 'B' stand for Lin and Log I believe, and '10K' is the value. I'd say your OK and it will work.

The 4M and 4Y could be some manufacturing codes..!? ... having said all that I could well be wrong...;c)

Cheers,
TOM
