Yamaha CS Series Synthesizer Servicing Guide

Yamaha CS Series Synthesizer Servicing Guide

2012-08-10 by scituate_mass

As promised, I have uploaded a copy of the CS servicing guide to the files section on this site. This thing is pretty rare, apparently... but I still think it's weird that there has been little to no mention of it online, especially given the popularity of these synths... am I really the only person who has a copy???? Anyways, I hope this will now help enable others (like me) to start to understand how their CS machine/s operate.

I paid a pretty penny for this, but I hope this is only shared and not sold by whoever downloads it.

A higher rez copy is available here, at least for a little while:

Please see my last post for the CS series troubleshooting document.

Enjoy...

New Vangelis-style CS-80 track

2012-08-10 by Fredrik Segerfalk

http://soundcloud.com/analogsweden/pickled-beast

A free track from the coming "Sound for Work"-album by Fredrik
Segerfalk. Obviously very inspired by the CS-80 master Vangelis.

If you like it, please visit http://www.facebook.com/analogsweden

Two tracks of Yamaha CS-80 and one track Rhodes suitcase, played live
and recorded in the Analog Sweden studio. The basic track was improvised
from scratch, and then I added the CS-80 strings and rhodes. Enjoy :)

Seconded!

An early favorite for the "Most Valuable Upload" category of the 2012 yamahacs80 Yahoo User Group Awards.

Much obliged!

Thank you very much for uploading. It's a great thing to preserve
digitally and share such important documents.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
