CS-80 on YouTube

2006-10-05 by David Rogoff

Just saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2ldSgsqbxY

ELO's "The Diary of Horace Wimp." Very cool song. Most of the time
Tandy is miming along to the piano part, but there are CS-80 closeups.
Does anyone know if the vocoder stuff is CS-80? By coincidence, when
I got my first CS, a used CS-60 in 1981, I would run it through a
Roland SVC-350. Great sounds!

It is possible it could have been achieved with a mic and preamp with
filter through the ext input.....and some wah pedal....it would have
been mostly amplitude mod and a hint of vcf with lots of res and a lot
of wah.....sounds like only one mix bank though....other posibility is a
talk box with the keyboard added to the dry mix....
