[sdiy] Discharging CRT, was: Modular Video?

I used to do a fair amount of Neon sculpture in collage. I've been shocked
many times by 15,000 volt neon sign transformers. Not as deadly as a CRT
power supply (*much* less current). I did a bunch of "Jacob's ladder" based
pieces. We has a small one in our front room that we used to light
cigarettes (and etc.) with. The arc would jump and travel up till it
encountered the cigarette and would light it. Lets say that when some
"cigarettes" got too small, and one had to get a little too close, that
shocks happened more often. God I was an idiot when I was younger!
