greetings folks - just some quick questions from
a part time lurker/builder.
i was recently given a crumar Stratus keyboard
that was compleatly dead - power supply dead, organ
tabs broken, some Cems dead, burnt out components.
i dont consider it a fixable unit (but if someone wants
the case/keyboard mechanism = please contact me)
i dont have schematics - but i've pulled what i belive
to be the oscilator board out - and it has 8 chips labeled:
TDA 1008 HYH 7931 3
any pointers would be appreciated. also if someone has a schem for this?
i doubt it - but please let me know!)
also looking through mark vail's vintage synths book i see
the trustly kayproII computer listed as a controler for many
diff synths from paia to syngery - does anyone out there
have any software for this beast? currently all my kayproII
gets used for is ASCII Donkey Kong and ASCII Pacman...
which are great! but some 'more productive' use would be
greatly appreciated
