that's a thought. in theory there wouldn't be any technical reason not to put more midi on the data bus (aside from making it generally a little overcrowded...) but again there is a problem with interface requirements; not enough switches and stuff left on the panel. anyway we won't be adding any more features until the current set is stable. i can't remember at this moment if the internal bussing on the 249e was ever implemented. looking (very briefly) at the code, it doesn't look like it was, but someone who actually has one could easily find out.
