> ning in a frw minutes and then totally lost track of time, I have been making my way slowly through each module plugging all the ins and outs -Pulse, CV and audio. This far I am getting some wonderful and surprising sounds. I don't quite yet "get" the 210e and its function, nor am I fully grokking the 291e. The 291 run cycle is a bit glitchy and I am not quite sure what I am doing - amplitude is erratic and hard for me to control. When it gets going in cycle or pulse mode I get some nice affects but I can't seem to establish a nice ful 8 step sweep

i just setup this patch

259e -> 291e signal input
291e output a -> 227e

the 259e has a bit of grit to it (red 6, green 4, red fm knob turned all the way down, principal osc at~ 110hz, morph 5, warp 3).

i then went through and set all 8 steps in the 291e to "Free" and set their time to 10 seconds. i used the following values:

b	f
57	156
68	247
66	415
64	740
43	31
0	31
15	31
0	31

now i hit "play" and i've had some nice long droney filter sweeps.

make sure all the values are capitalized and not lowercased. "F 123" will morph but "f 123" will step. both can be quite useful depending on what you want to do (stepping is good if you're making drum beats, which is easy to do by feeding in white noise to the all input).

the same patch also works in "Cntrl Vltg" mode. feed a slow lfo (281e, 266e, interpolate between two steps on a 250e, move some rings around, etc) in and you'll get some very slow morphing sweeps.

also, amplitude is only used if you monitor the "all" out. read the manual for this (and the 210e and 250e) and you'll save yourself some frustration.
