Greets,

I am having trouble getting this feature to work, even though everything else appears to be 
functioning as expected. MIDI notes and pulses pass through to the 261s and 281s, no 
problem. Another strange thing is that the purple activity LEDs on the 292s flash, even the 
remote enable switch is not enaged. Also tried patching from velocity outs of busses E-H, 
still nothing. I am overlooking something completely obvious here?

so are the 292e velocity inputs working at all?

bear in mind that the gate inputs have to be patched up as well... the
actual amplitude is kinda like (knob OR gate input) AND (velocity
input if patched, or internal velocity from MIDI)

the activity indicator LED on th 292e is hooked up directly to the
system's data bus, and is useful for monitoring all digital traffic in
the system.
