I think that one sold already, there was talk about B&A making another run of 259e's if there were enough folks interested, maybe give them a call and see where they are on that if.

Yeah, this has come up a few times recently.  Ezra said that in order 
to do it, B&A would need to do a run of 20-25.  

I'm thinking about starting an official list.  If we get 20 or more 
people with the $$ ready to go, we contact with the orders ready to go 
Don and see if he'll go for it.
Whatta you guys think?  Good plan?  Dumb plan?  I'd be happy to manage 
the list.

I've read a few laudatory comments posted here on the 259e (I have two  
261e's) but would have to hear a convincing rundown on why it would be  
great to get a 259e. Is it not all-digital under the hood?

I had no problem ordering one just 8 weeks ago, well i hope they have 
seen I wanted a 259e...3 weeks to go :-)

It's just another flavor, probably not prerequisite, possibly may not be everyone's preferred, but I find myself reaching for it more than the 261e particularly because of the digital nature of it's sound, and how it sits in the context of analog interfacing.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
