Motorola axed the '916Y3 that was in one client's prototype an another's beta-test stage sensor controller. Needless to say, the clients are unhappy. The applications require flash, tpu, adc and single chip mode. I seriously prefer TQFP since I hand solder the initial boards, but a socket and PBGA is survivable. The 68F375 looks ideal. The automotive selection guide admits it exists and is in production. However product cycle info is unavailable and of the 6 listed vendors, only Arrow admits it exists ($62 is OK in small quantity) but has no suggested lead times. Is anyone familiar with it, it's real status, any serious issued in moving from '916 to 683xx family, etc...? I plan to use the P&E Microsystems platform, as i am using it for the '916Y3...
