Hello all,
I'm new to the group. I'm designing a product that will use a MCU, possibly only an 8-bit MCU, any suggestion where's a good place to source Motorola MCU?

Digikey recently started handling Motorola MCUs. ; I don't know how complete the line is yet. Just go to the site and search for what you want.
Newark is a major Motorola Authorized distributor and almost as easy to do business with on-line as DigiKey is. They should have just about everything that Motorola (and now On Semiconductor) still manufactures.
However, before comitting to a Motorola part, you are well advised to contact your salesman or FAE to check if that part may be about to be put on "End of Life". Motorola has recently developed the habit of discontinuing parts which are of particular interest to small users.
There are other distributors that handle Motorola parts, Arrow and Future Active come to mind. You should be able to find the complete list at the Motorola web site. (Happy floundering).
