Hi Jerry,
    Try controlling the ring modulator with the breath controller.  Make the
range subtle and find the right modulation frequency to sweep.  Since the BC
is more logarithmic than linear it might give some very musical effects.
For that matter, try mapping it to the delay... just a puff now and then
would give an echo.
    I've always wanted to experiment with one for the guitar synth since
both hands are always occupied and pedals aren't as quick as a wheel or
ribbon.  They are a bit pricey, though.

Hey Ed:

Thanks for the tips. Yeah, I'm more of a puff now and then kinda guy. 
I used to play french so I would think I would be decent at it, but I 
tried the "purist" settings (no blow, no sound) and was pretty 
underwhelmed with the results. I didn't realize it was logarithmic. 
That would explain a lot. I am beginning to dream of synths with 
logarithmic and force-feedback/variable resistance controllers. (On a 
guitar, it's harder to bend from 1 to 2 semitone than it is from 0 to 
1.) Seems limitations are what make some instruments musical........
