I just use Protel and put the info next to the connector IE Male D 15 
with metal hood, or mini din 8.

I can not see the point in buying another package. when I have a 
perfectly good one already. The only exception is for mechanical 
drawings, which I use Autosketch for ( Acads little sister) but it is a 
pain to use as it has soooooo much precision, that if all the parts are 
not drawn on the same grid and snap size, you have lines that look 
joined on the screen and are seperated on the hard copy.

I guess it is just horses for courses, but as I am prefecient in my EDA 
tool, I just use it to do more things.
