Thanks for the info. That is why I am avoiding a true CAD package. I don't need the precision it just messes up the drawing. You don't need to scale a line for 6ft when simply drawing a line and calling it 6ft is perfect. I use Eagle CAD I hadn't thought about using that for cable drawings, good idea. I am thinking about purchasing Smartdraw or Visio for doing flowcharts and network diagrams anyways. I am just hoping to also find a 3rd party library of cable connectors for one or the other.
