I agree, I normally drop the cutout, hole etc close to where I want it and then use the properties window to move it where I want it. You also have to remember that the object centre is the X and Y coordinates which makes it a little bit of work to convert from CAD drawings where the edge is normally the reference point. Keep your calculator handy!! :o) Once you get over this, you can make some pretty neat panels. Dave.
