FWIW, I haven't had any issues with using Firefox to download AVR
Studio on either Win2K or WinXP Pro platforms.

If your issue is with installing AVR Studio, perhaps some error
occurred causing your AVR Studio installation file to become corrupt.
 Perhaps downloading the installer again and rerunning it will help
resolve your issue.
