Mom! i broke my AVRISP!

Hi friends..

If you ever wanted to see the innards of an AVR Micro .. just have a look...

Just blew up my AVRISP the other day.. The 90S8535 located on it flipped its lid literally...

The damage occured when i kept the target AVR board on a metallic tweezer which probably

shorted the 5V pin of the AVRISP header to the 24 Volt DC Power supplied from the lithium batteries!!

I feel your pain. A couple of weeks ago I smoked my AVRISP. 

DigiKey is suppose to have the USB flavor replacements p/n ATAVRISP2 
by April 7 for $34. They are taking orders now, and yes, I have one 
on backorder.

Hi!

Did you know? IC-s are work with smoke inside them. When the smoke is come out of them IC-s are stop working.

Put a drop of glue into the hole and take the flipped cover back and inject some smoke in it!. Who knows maybe it will work. :-)
