AVR-Chat

I'm working on a project using an AT-Tiny26. It has been working fine.
But now the Tiny26 seems to not want to run any more. It can be
programmed and read back fine, both in SPI mode and on a parallel
programmer. All the fuse bits are set correctly to the default 1MHz
settings. We have written a very simple program which just wiggles a pin
up and down. But it just won't run. This is the second time this has
happened - the first time, we replaced the Tiny26 and all was OK again. 

Anyone seen this before? It almost looks like some setting is wrong.

I've had similar problems with the Tiny11. It was probably caused by ESD as 
I was plugging them and unplugging them lots of times during development.

   ounds to me as if something is happening in your enviroinment that is 
blowing the chips...ESD, perhaps?
