Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

Hello for everyone. I bought a VF-1 but I can't decide which midi controller do I get. First of all I also don't know too much about MIDI devices. But As I search in internet I find some options like Roland GFC-50 or FC-200 or Behringer FBC-1010. Behringer is as half as cheap then Roland things. But I can't decide which one is true choice. I also have a nice Crybaby 535Q and few good distortion pedals like ProCo Rat Deucetone, A Boss MT-2, and a old Marshall DriveMaster, so I need Boss VF-1 for some mod effects and delay and some more fx that I will run them to a Marshall AVT150 (or Marshall JCM800 2210 half-stack in few weeks ). In this case I wonder if I can use this device as seperate effect settings (for example use chorus by assaign them different pedals on midi controller.Simply like stompboxes) with a Midi Controller.Or can I use midi controller for tap tempo delay settings ect.
