The Yamaha MFC10, the Roland FC200 and the Behringer FCB1010 are all good foot controllers for the VF-1. The FC200 requires less programming than the others. The Behringer is very large and heavy and I found it to be very challenging to program to perform the desired VF-1 functions. If you do not require the expression pedal, then any MIDI controller will work for the basic functions. For the individual separate stompbox operation, you will probably need one of the three controllers I mentioned above. I bought a VF-1 but I can't decide which midi controller do I get. First of all I also don't know too much about MIDI devices. But As I search in internet I find some options like Roland GFC-50 or FC-200 or Behringer FBC-1010. Behringer is as half as cheap then Roland things. But I can't decide which one is true choice. I also have a nice Crybaby 535Q and few good distortion pedals like ProCo Rat Deucetone, A Boss MT-2, and a old Marshall DriveMaster, so I need Boss VF-1 for some mod effects and delay and some more fx that I will run them to a Marshall AVT150 (or Marshall JCM800 2210 half-stack in few weeks ). In this case I wonder if I can use this device as seperate effect settings (for example use chorus by assaign them different pedals on midi controller.Simply like stompboxes) with a Midi Controller.Or can I use midi controller for tap tempo delay settings ect. Thank you for your help. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
