Hmmm...I have not experienced this problem. Are you configuring/calibrating the pedal for each button? Sometimes the customization of the unit causes more work, but it's worth it in the end.  I wish the unit had a feature so that you could create a global configuration change (like CC # or midi change #, etc for an express pedal) with a single set of steps rather than having to do it fo each button.
