  how can I learn basics of midi and basic terminology of midi? Anyone know sources about that? As I'm not a technician (I'm really strange of this kind of things) I need some practical knowledge only for use this things basicly.

Sometimes the customization of the unit causes more work, but it's worth it in the end. I wish the unit had a feature so that you could create a global configuration change (like CC # or midi change #, etc for an express pedal) with a single set of steps rather than having to do it fo each button.

I found the FCB1010 to be a bit of a pain in the ass... once I've 
configured the expression pedal and set the pressed pedal as value 0, it 
quickly goes out of synch, and when I press the pedal all the way it 
doesn't reach the peak value.

But it's definitely sturdy and flexible.
