I use the VF-1 straight into my amp, but I'm intrigued by the idea of loading patches off the web. There's nothing in the manual about this (am I the only one who feels this is the least 'guitar player- friendly' manual ever?). Any help would be apprecieated.

I don't know of any way to load patches directly from the web. I do know that there are several pathches that people have posted to the vf1 group, but I have had problems downloading them. I believe that they are just instructional in nature, rather than directly transferable to the vf1?? Ben

Hello!! you need software like midi-ox(see in midi-ox.com),for myself only few of those patches are difficult to download ,most of them are easy to transfer,so try mine !!!and tell about but try them not directly in your amp but prefer the return effect input,it's sound better in most patches. so with the midi-ox search the sysex panel and send the file (after open it) it's not hard at all!! Can I use MIDI-OX without the MIDI-Yoke to simply upload/download patches from my PC to the VF-1? Where's the best bank to save other people's patches for checking out the sound, user? Thnx for the info! Manny

yeah I wouldn't really worry about where you put them if you copy over a sound you really like you can always do a factory reset which will return everything back to normal iv also downloaded patches. there is this really great one that sounds (almost) exactly like a sitar ravi shanka me up.
