ther eis a stereo delay which gives you control over each side and you can hard pan.  I use this effect on stage as i have a stereo set up with two fender hot rods - by setting one side to gradually fade and the other side to quickly fade it creates the impression that the sound is moving from one side to the other - very cool effect - i use htis in the intro for an old Bodenes song called Fadeaway - the original live recording of this song has the guitarist use a mono delay pedal - if you liek i can hunt down which patch but any stereo delay patch can work
