� � � � � �I am very happy to have picked up a used VZ-1 almost nine years ago, love it more and more as I delve deeper into it and utilize the patches that the users here have posted through the years. �I enjoy this synth so much that I had to pick up a NOS VZ-8M I found on craigslist from a guy who used to be a music store owner who bought it brand new and stashed it away for his home studio that he never built. Brand new, still in the original packaging, now serving duty as poly expansion for my VZ-1 and companion tones on it's own. Love the wind controller programs on the VZ-8M and using them with my Doepfer R2M ribbon contoller, such fun.
� � � � � My VZ-1 came to me with it's plastic endcaps in four or five pieces but the rest of this tank was sweet so I fabricated some beefy mahogany endcaps to replace the damaged pieces. Some might say that they dont care for the wood on a digital synth and I might re-sculpt them at a later date but now they feel right when using the control wheels and pitch bend on the left. My VZ-1 is the one pictured in the photos section. Thank you to everybody who has contributed to the files section and general passing of knowledge on their love for Casio professional VZ series synths over the years.
