Wow...surprised the VZ-1 cost so little...I remember blowing about $300 on a slightly used CZ-1000 around '86. I would have saved for the VZ-1 had I known!! Of course I would have been daunted by the programming at the time. I now own a VZ-10 and a CZ-1, and though I eventually got my noggin' around the VZ, the CZ line is pie to program in comparison.

Same here, I bought my VZ-1 Brand spanking new from Sam Ash on 48th st NYC in 1987
Cost $449. I still have it to this day and it still works fine!! It will go with me in my coffin.

      Hi everybody,
I have a Casio VZ-10M since 1996...never parted with! It has some amazing timbres...especially bell like tones, or electric clunky electric pianos...very nice for ethereal sounds, film music, etc.

Sorry to hear that, well I guess most people are not too happy with there old synths thease days. Im just the opposite since im not too happy with my newer synth which I hardly ever play other than my vz I had for over 20 years. I know one thing the CZ's are still good but only good in there own ways of making sounds. Sad thing I don't know too much about them though but I do wish you luck on your cz3000 whatever it has to offer.
