Never grow tired.

Never grow tired.

2013-06-03 by cliffe123

Does anyone feel the same way as I do regardless if you have a cz or vz for like 25 years knowing they still work we never grow tired of playing and programing them? Well for 25 years for me I still never got tired of my instruments. I'm still scratching the surface although is good to share our thoughts. (Note no plans of updates yet on the last set of patches but even I cant seem to stand still but one day I will) Well have a great summer:-D

so "cliffe" as a handle says it all.

now just u get all the machines you don't have ,
between you and others , ,

bridging similarity can be a wide spread thing

my trouble is nobody programs on a communal basis

they just stand there waving , saying:
 i made this
i made this ,,not really overily concerned if it is crucial

anybody have midi progrsmming skills for atari st???
anybody have some new fz10m stuff to share?

Hmmmmm suprisenly I assume they all still work or at least some of them do. Thats like the good old days when atari st and other hardware devices were very popular back in thoese days but the problem with them they get dated fast for newer hardware devices or something they think its better but in actuallity theres no significant differances the way they work. Some like older HW's than newer HW's like me I guess its the way we all are use to liking them. Anyway Its kind of a big problem finding programers thease days who can still specialize in sound designings of very old HW instruments like the synergies synths and others alike. Only if I have the Fz I would be working on sampled snapshots of few patches I made but again in some point in time I may have a few availabe. Some of them will be on my FL Studio 11 project im currently working on later on though:)

I haven't heard your more recent VZ patches, cliff, but I remain in awe of what you have been able to do. As for me, my VZ-8m (originally purchased new from Sam Ash, I believe) still works and still holds the patches I developed decades ago.

Other than the patch I developed and used in my "Study in Harmonics" piece a few years ago ( http://www.electro-music.com/forum/topic-41257.html ), I have not designed any more sounds for the VZ, but it is always on the back burner.

I am interested in slowly transforming and other electro-ambient sounds which can be played with realtime controls (e.g. CCs, aftertouch--as a knob, PWheel, Modwheel, and front panel harmonics manipulation).

If you are ever interested in developing a basic template for such sounds, I'd be interested in collaborating by taking the template and tweaking it to come up with some unique variations of the basic template. Maybe others could try a hand at this so we could develop a collaboratively designed bank.

Yes that would be a great idea making up a uique template and how a sound can transform into a different sound all together whether its pichbend, aftertouch or just playing notes up the scale. Me myself im still developing new sounds and I dont know when this one will be out. In fact im working on 2 sets. one set im still trying to make the sounds authentic or realistic as possible on set 4 and its more of an update. Last set will be totally different from the rest (although it may not be 64 paches) I know one thing there will be lots to choose from on this last set. Hopefully i'll see if I could come up with a template or maybe something different along that nature. That would be really cool though.
