Hi,
Replacing the bateries is easier than you thought.  There is a battery
hatch on the botom of the keyboard.  It takes 6 D cell (maybe C cells)
flashlight batteries.
If your batteries haven't run all the way down, you have a small amount
of time to get the new batteries in before you lose the memory.
