I know backlights can fail but do they just die suddenly or do >they get dimmer over time? Can anyone advise please? EL panels like in the VZ, numerous wristwatches, etc. have a limited lifespan- they gradually get dimmer until they're not emitting any light anymore. I really wish Casio used an LED backlight instead of the EL panel. It is a pretty shade of blue though. PS: Wish I had an HS-2/E. My VZ-10M is nice but it just doesn't look as cool as the hohner one. _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
