It sounds to me as if the machine isn't starting the waveform from a zero point. Even if i use an initialized patch with only one line/module then the sinewave has a click on the front end. Slowing the attack down just makes the click slightly quieter but only cuts it out completely when the attack is so slow its unusable for bass sounds etc. The same problem is apparent on a lot of the preset sounds (the harp sound clicks so much it would be impossible to ever use) but not all of them.
